Excel to Ride - Austin ElementaryThis is the date to give the kids from Austin Elementary a "ride" on your bike for all their hard work throughout the year. If you've never participated is it worth the ride. There are a lot of kids this year so we will need as many of you as possible to attend.
Please bring an extra helmet for your "rider" to wear while on the bike.
Check your helmet stickers and vest patches. We need your "Sunday best" for the kids.
Meet at the Texan Harley-Davidson parking lot at 7:15 a.m. KSU at 7:45 a.m. SHARP. We will ride to the Cut N Shoot Post Office and arrive by 8:00 a.m. for a group photo and leave at approximately 8:15 a.m. with a police escort to the school. We will arrive at Austin Elementary by 8:30 a.m.

View MapThe Cut-N-Shoot New Member/Group Riding Orientation is a requirement to get your membership card and Chapter patches.
The meeting will start promptly at 9:00 a.m. at the American Legion Hall in Willis. There will be an introduction of Officers present and new Cut-N-Shoot Members, followed by an overview of the Chapter, its rides and activities. After this, we will begin the group riding orientation, including group riding, risk management, emergency procedures and Chapter policies.
After the orientation is finsihed, we will ride to a local destination for lunch.

ABC's of Touring Ride, Giddings Meat Market (C) (T)

ABC's of Touring Ride Come out and join John and Sue Walling, our ABC's of Touring & HOG Mileage Officers, for an ABC Ride to Giddings, TX.
The first ABC ride of 2010 will be March 20th leaving from Texan at 9:00 am, so be early. We will take a ride through the National Forest and then the bluebonnet fields on Scenic loop 390 with lunch in Giddings, Texas at the Giddings Meat Market. Their reputation for the best BBQ in Giddings is well deserved. If you are curious about the ABC program come join us for the ride. Even if you are not interested in ABC's join us for a fun day riding through the country during Bluebonnet season.

The Louisiana State H.O.G. Rally is in Hammond, Louisiana March 25th-28th, 2010. Hammond, LA, is located at the intersections of two major interstate highways, I-55 and I-12. Hammond is nationally know as the "Crossroads of the South", because of its link to a number of cities such as New Orleans, Louisiana; Houston, Texas; and Biloxi, Mississippi.

We'll be headed out on an approximately 55 mile ride for lunch and Easter Egg hunting. Texan has hidden 500 eggs, all loaded with cash and prizes for us to find. Once finished, we'll return to Texan to claim our prizes. This will be a FUN afternoon so start planning your groups and be ready for a ride that you won't want to miss. This is a Dealer event and not a Chapter event, but we'll have guides to get you to the destination. If you have a group that you prefer to ride with, get them or at least their names together and go see Harry Kuder (Chief Road Captain) and his crew. They will be setting up "groups." Remember to fill your tanks before arriving at Texan and be ready for about a 1 hour ride.
We've been promised that no one will be able to start "hunting" until the last CNS bike is on site, so don't get in a rush to be the first one there.
