The Montgomery County Food Bank is launching their inaugural gala-“Feasting on the Frontier, Texas Style 2011” on January 15 at La Torretta Lake Resort and Spa in Montgomery. Pioneer themed and reminiscent of the early 1800’s, Feasting on the Frontier, Texas Style 2011, is the first major fundraiser for the MCFB. “I am
very excited to have this opportunity to reach more families, and feed more hungry people in Montgomery County through this event”, said Doris Golemon, Executive Director of the Montgomery County Food Bank. “Most of our donations come to us through individuals by way of $25 increments”. Special honorees will be the Cut and Shoot Harley Owners Group. “No one deserves it more than this group of individuals who donate their time, energies and money for the sole purpose of helping the less fortunate of our county. The Montgomery County Food Bank, other nonprofits and our county as a whole is truly blessed by the membership of the Cut-N-Shoot Harley Owners Group. It is a special privilege to honor them”, says Golemon.
Entertainment will be Larry Butler and The Coleman Brothers.
Cocktails and a silent auction will begin at 6:00pm, followed by dinner at
7:00pm, and a live auction at 8:00pm.
