A Short Overview of the Cut-N-Shoot Welcome Rider Program
The Welcome rider program is the Chapter's effort to contact all new members
during the first week after they join the Chapter. The purpose is to again
welcome them to Cut-N-Shoot and confirm that they understood the Group Riding Orientation
information/requirements as well as the Cut-N-Shoot website usage information. In addition,
we include an email containing a month or so of upcoming activities to jumpstart their
interest in attending Chapter functions and events.
The first step in the process is to collect all of the new member information from the
Membership Officer and forwarded that to each of respective Welcome Riders located in
the new members general area.
Step two is for each of the Welcome Riders to make contact via phone or email and introduce
themselves to the new member(s). The Welcome Rider will offer to answer any questions
that they may have regarding Cut-N-Shoot, meet with the new member as needed, go to a scheduled ride
or event with them, etc. The point here is to facilitate their inclusion into the group
and reinforce their interest in our activities and rides.
After the initial contact is made, each new member will continue to be contacted every couple
of weeks for a approximately two months to give them a solid start with Cut-N-Shoot. After this
time, if all has gone according to plan, a Full Member emerges to continue the Cut-N-Shoot legacy.
