S.I.P.D.E.

WOW!!!  What a schedule for riding we have.  It's no wonder we as Shooters get tagged the "ridenest Chapter."  I for one, believe Spring is in the air, which we all know means way more saddle time than we've had with all this weird and definitely cold and wet weather, which also means our exposure level to mishap can be increased.

Let's keep our focus up and really pay attention to our surroundings and ride safe... wait a minute!!, there's a name for that... it's called... S.I.P.D.E.  Now, as the Safety Officer, I wonder... how many folks REALLY understand the phrase, but more importantly... PRACTICE this every time we ride????

SCAN – How, When, Where, and Why
IDENTIFY – What, Where, and When
PREDICT – What, How, and When
DECIDE – What, When, How, Where
EXECUTE - Why

OK sounds like to me it's time to investigate and unlock the mysteries of SIPDE over the next couple of weeks.  If you've had the motorcycle safety courses that taught this, dust of your SIPDE hats and get ready...
